Barilla is a family-owned company with more than 140 years of history of producing the best pasta.
Pennette Rigate are a shorter and thinner version of the classic and very popular Penne pasta. They have the shape of hollow tubes with obliquely cut ends (which in their shape resemble the tip of an ancient pen) and a grooved surface ("rigate"). Thanks to this specific shape and fine grooves on and inside, they perfectly hold the sauce. They are traditionally made from high-quality durum wheat, which ensures that they retain their firm shape after cooking and do not stick.
It goes great with heavier meat ragouts, rich cheese sauces and lighter vegetable mixtures.
Ingredients: Durum wheat semolina, water.
