The set contains two separate 250g metal cans of ground coffee, which represent the absolute pinnacle of Italian coffee culture. The first can, illy Espresso Classico , is the global benchmark for balance with a medium roast that reliably wakes you up in the morning with its natural sweetness and subtle caramel notes. The second can, illy Decaf , offers an identical taste profile, but the beans have been gently decaffeinated (to less than 0.1%) using the state-of-the-art liquid $CO_2$ method. This preserves the cell structure of the bean and essential oils, so you won't be able to tell the difference from classic coffee in a cup.

Both ground coffees are made from nine of the best varieties of 100% high-altitude Arabica.
